Reading Lesson No5

Before you start the lesson please ensure you are comfortable with both, the sound of the Ivrit letters and the  Ivrit vowel system - The sound symbols.

Note: To make it simple, I will be using colours for the sound symbols to help you remember the sound they give the letter.  I will be dropping the colours as you progress through the lessons.

Sounds: OO

The 3 dots / Vav with dot in the middle, makes the sound OO - They will be blue   סֻ סוּ

The 2 vertical dots or no sound symbol, makes quick sound will be Brown סְ ס 

Silent letter will be light Grey.

  Remember: Bet has 2 sounds  and V
  Bo = ּבּו  /  Bo = בֻּ

 Fo = פוּ  /  Fo = פֻ

 Ro = רוּ  /  Ro = רֻ
So = סוּ /  So = סֻ
Sho = ֹשׁוּ /  Sho = ׁשֻׁ
Lo = לוּ  /  Lo = לֻ
Mo = מוּ  /  Mo = קֻ

And so on...
